I lived on CX's in the mid 80's and have a soft spot for them, but whoever built that has a hard-on.. what a transformation!

I never took to the "rotated out" cylinders, being a '70s Guzzi fan, and know nothing else about CXs. This guy clearly has emotional issues as he has done a stellar job and I would love to ride this fkn thing!

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year to all. Best wishes to all (4 of us) for 2022 in spite of the full-court press by guvmints and their lackeys and media to have us "build back better". Begins between the ears to not be a sheep and to keep a sense of hope and humor. Interesting Factiod: Soylent Green www.imdb.com/title/tt0070723/ took place in 2022...

Hi fellahs - Belated Christmas and New Year greetings - I hope you all enjoyed yourselves despite the dreaded covid-19. Hope you are all well.
The reason in haven't posted for a while is that I was admitted to hospital with severe back pain on 23rd December for an emergency operation on my spine. Spent all of Christmas in hospital and got out on 29th December.
I was 6 hours in surgery where I had a severely prolapsed disc repaired and calcified bone chipped away from the nerves in the spinal column. Had no choice on the op as the impingement of bone on nerves had rendered my legs numb and unable to stand or walk. Op was 80% successful so I'm working hard on physio t get myself mobile again. Using a frame to get around the house. But with physio hoping to discard it as soon as poss. Physio tells me it may take up to six months.
Anyway hope you are all well and looking forward to the start of 2022 season. See you soon - Saturn

Take it easy Sats but keep up with the exercise to recover well. Worst case scenario....there some brilliant fun and light 125's out there!
Giving motogp a break for a bit meself....not sure much to talk about on here anyhow, no regular posters.
In other news..he had a big mishap on stage 2 but Petrucci is going great on the Dakar, I'm well impressed with him. Look after yourself Sats wishing you a speedy recovery

Crikey Sats, you want rubbing out and drawing again..
Glad to hear the op went well and you're up and about, albeit with assistance at this point. It's still very early days pal, don't push yourself too hard and listen to your body. Take baby steps. Set weekly goals.. and never give up!
It would be good if, come the start of BSB, some of us met up at a race, said hello and had a walk round, wouldn't it?
Stay strong me old mucker, and let us know how things go.

Sats, glad to hear things went relatively well (did you ride many bikes with bad/no rear shocks?). I take it the NHS worked well? Sometimes here in the States we hear stories, although with my health insurance provider (Kaiser) one sometimes has to push them hard depending on one's age.
Take it slow and do your physical therapy, painful as it might be.

Utterly impressive he could do so well his first try at Dakar. No break in MotoGP for me. Not much else worth watching. I'll watch a bit of American Football, baseball during the playoffs only; there's maybe 4 or 5 NBA teams worth watching. Too old to understand cricket...

I know! Looks like Laguna is on this summer. Looking forward to it. Hopefully will remind me of late '70s where one could wander around makeshift pit tents and see the likes of Roberts, Spencer, Mamola...
I have always liked Danilo.
